The most common excuse for those who want to make money fast, is that they “should” do this or that, “but” excuses, excuses, excuses. Every time that I hear someone say that they “should” do something, followed by a “but”, I think back to a story which I was once told. The story involves a man and a dog sitting on the man’s porch. Someone walks by and glances at the dog, noticing that the dog is sitting on top of a huge nail. When the person asked the man on the porch why his dog would not simply move off of the nail, the man on the porch responded that it doesn’t hurt enough for the dog to move. People often act the same way when it comes to money matters. Even though we are struggling from check to check, often times it is only when we experience financial devastation that we then try to make money fast. Continue reading →
